By Rachel Rogish

WILDWOOD – During the June 26 Wildwood City Commissioners’ meeting, Mayor Ernie Troiano announced he was considering an “in-house” trash pick-up program. The mayor said present contract costs and complaints from residents drove his consideration.
According to Troiano, certain sections of the city suffer late pick-up or none at all. Resident Al Brennan said his neighborhood has not experienced service problems. The mayor said the undertaking is possible, and further discussions would be held after bids for trash services are received sometime this month.
