DENNISVILLE – Dennis Township Committee approved a resolution June 25, which urged Cape May County and the state Department of Transportation (NJDOT) to “determine and implement traffic improvements” at the intersection of Route 9 and Sea Isle Boulevard.
The measure was a result of complaints about the dangerous conditions the intersection represents for motorists trying to make safe turns onto and from Sea Isle Boulevard.
“We’ve received lots of concerned input from residents about this intersection and requests to get it improved, so we hope with this resolution the county and NJDOT will take quick remedial action,” said Mayor Zeth Matalucci.
