Three Streets Go 2-Way

By Camille Sailer

SEA ISLE CITY – Sea Isle City Council, at its May 19 meeting, passed an ordinance to make sections of 40th, 51st and 52nd streets two-way streets in the vicinity of Landis and Central avenues. The ordinance was passed to revert to two-way status streets which had been the subject of a previous ordinance that made them one-way at the request of a few residents. The city will conduct a study during the summer to see if any new modification should be considered. The ordinance takes effect immediately, and no new signage is needed since the one-way status was never implemented.
