NORTH WILDWOOD – ParkMobile, a provider of smart parking and mobility solutions in North America, announced July 2 a partnership with North Wildwood that will enable people to pay for city parking from their mobile devices.
According to a release, the ParkMobile app is available at approximately 1,250 single and multi-space parking meters and several lots around the city.
ParkMobile is free to download and available for both iPhone and Android devices.
Users can additionally register on parkmobile.io. After setting up their account, customers can immediately begin using the system with their registered mobile device.
With the ParkMobile app, users simply enter the zone number posted on the ParkMobile sticker or sign, choose the duration of time, and touch the “start parking” button.
ParkMobile sends alerts when a parking session is about to expire so a user can easily extend time right from the app without having to rush back to the meter.
“Park Mobile will help residents and visitors easily find and pay for parking, providing a convenience to North Wildwood,” stated Mayor Patrick Rosenello.
“Expanding our network to North Wildwood means a lot to us,” stated Jon Ziglar, CEO of ParkMobile. “At ParkMobile, we’re proud to provide more and more customers across the State of New Jersey with a seamless parking experience as they travel between destinations.”
ParkMobile is widely available in many other New Jersey markets, including Jersey City, Verona, Montclair, Hoboken, Bloomfield, Ridgewood, Ocean City, as well as surrounding states like Delaware and Philadelphia.
