Sixth Grader Picks Slogan for New Water Tower

VILLAS – Jillian O’Rourke, a six grade student at Sandman Consolidated School wrote the winning phrase that will be painted on the new Millman Water Tower on Bayshore Road.
Lower Township Municipal Utilities Authority Commissioner Thomas Brown said 125 entries were received from sixth grade students.
“All of them were good,” he said. “Some of them were funny, I think one of them was ‘I Love New York.'”
Her winning contribution: ” Home of the Best Sunsets.” She received a $100 gift card from Walmart and a certificate of appreciation from the MUA Board of Commissioners.
“You’ll be able to tell all your friends for the next 20 years,” said Brown.
