SIC Beach Tag Sales Improve

By Camille Sailer

SEA ISLE CITY – Business Administrator George Savastano updated Sea Isle City Council, at its June 23 meeting, on the latest regarding beach tag sales.
“As of one month ago, sales were down 40% year-over-year; however, I’m now happy to report that we have pretty much caught up compared to last year, with sales, as of June 21, at more than $994,000.”
“This is just a 2% decrease over last year, or just a $21,000 decrease in dollar terms. As everyone knows, it’s very crowded in town, so it’s not a big surprise that our beach tag sales are doing well,” Savastano added.
