CREST HAVEN — Sheriff Gary Schaffer announced on Monday, Jan. 26 that 29 employees received commendations for perfect attendance during the year 2008.
Schaffer highlighted three officers who have had perfect attendance for more than 10 years:
• Lieutenant Thomas Bland, 17 years.
• Corrections Officer Robert Ginder, 15 years.
• Sheriff Officer Randy Mistic, 10 years.
According to a release, “They are setting the example for others to follow. It is this type of dedication to the Sheriff’s Office and work ethic I would like to find in all our employees. I want to personally congratulate and thank these officers and employees who had perfect attendance for a job well done,” stated Schaffer.
The following officers and employees had perfect attendance for 2008:
