PETERSBURG – At their meeting Sept. 12, committee members approved an Upper Township ordinance to purchase a parcel of land behind the county’s Senior Center.
The land, which sold for $1, is located on Stagecoach Road in Seaville.
The parcel is earmarked for a not-for-profit or church-run senior housing development. There is an agreement incorporated into the arrangement that ensures the township will continue to operate the center.
