SEA ISLE CITY – At its April 25 meeting, Sea Isle City Council authorized the award of the city’s ice cream and bottled water beach concession for 2023 and 2024. The two-year award amount was $784,010.

“That’s a lot of ice cream and bottled water,” Mayor Leonard Desiderio said.

The resolution states that two bids were received and “Oil Depot NJ (Vendor),” of Haddonfield, had the highest responsive bid with a 2023 price of $250,000 and an even higher 2024 price of $523,010.

Oil Depot NJ LLC was an unsuccessful bidder last year for the ice cream vending concessions in the City of Margate for the 2022, 2023, and 2024 seasons.
