Sample Ballots Mailed Oct. 23

By Herald Staff

COURT HOUSE – Cape May County Clerk Rita Marie Fulginiti and the Board of Elections would like voters to know that 67,553 sample ballots for the Tuessday, Nov. 4 General Election were mailed to Cape May County registered voters from the Bellmawr Post Office on Oct.23.
“These sample ballots will inform voters of the candidates and the public questions to be voted on at the Nov. 4 General Election as well as the location of their polling place.” Fulginiti said in a release.
There are an additional 1,781 new registered voters who were not included in this automated mailing.
“The majority of these voters will receive sample ballots mailed locally from the Board of Elections Office,” explained Michael Kennedy, registrar. “This is because we pulled the data to imprint the majority of sample ballots on Oct. 5 before the deadline for registration closed and all of the new registrations would be entered,” explained Fulginiti. Kennedy added, “There have been 7,752 new voter registrations filed by the deadline of Oct. 14 and being processed by the staff of the Board of Elections.
Those voters will be receiving Cape May County Voter Identification cards in the mail.
New voters who don’t receive a sample ballot are encouraged to go online to the New Jersey Department of State Division of Elections Web site to find the location of their polling place: https://voter.njsvrs.com/PublicAccess/jsp/PollPlace/PollPlaceSearch.jsp or to call the Board of Elections at 465-1050 to inquire about the location of their polling place.
