Thanks to a groundbreaking partnership with the New Jersey Lottery, horse racing’s legends of tomorrow will be able to be seen at Lottery retailers throughout the Garden State in the days and weeks ahead as part of the New Jersey Lottery’s new “BREEDERS’ CUP® GOLD” instant ticket, which debuted earlier this week.
With this instant ticket, even non-winning tickets can turn into a VIP Trip for Two to the 2008 Breeders’ Cup® World Thoroughbred Championships.
“The Breeders’ Cup® is a cornerstone of the horse racing community, and rightfully so,” said New Jersey Lottery Acting Executive Director William T. Jourdain, “It’s the New Jersey Lottery’s goal to make this instant ticket legendary in New Jersey, too. With ten chances to win up to $30,000 on every ticket, and ten second chance drawings for a VIP Trip for Two to the 2008 Breeders’ Cup® World Thoroughbred Championships, ‘BREEDERS’ CUP® GOLD’ is sure to race out of the gates and into the hands of some very lucky Lottery players.”
“BREEDERS’ CUP® GOLD” offers prizes ranging from $2 to the top prize of $30,000. In addition, “BREEDERS’ CUP® GOLD” also has ten Lottery Bonus Zone “Second Chance” drawings. For each of the ten Lottery Bonus Zone
“Second Chance” drawings, one (1) Grand Prize winner will be awarded, as well as 94 second prizes of a “BREEDERS’ CUP®” merchandise prize pack.
Each winner of the grand prize for each Bonus Zone “Second Chance” drawing will receive:

Championships at Santa Anita Park in Arcadia, CA-The prize winner will
receive three nights hotel accommodations, premium seating with hospitality
for two, and two Merchandise Prize Packs. Extras include

Championships Press Party, Post Race Reception (if applicable) and Press
Breakfast. This also includes a $1,000 travel allowance, $500 in spending
money, backside tour, and ground transfers.
The estimated value of this trip is $7,971.00.
For each “Second Chance” drawing, the Lottery will also award 94 second prizes of a “Breeders’ Cup®” prize pack, with an estimated value of $595.
The prize pack includes a deluxe leather duffel bag, Breeders’ Cup® long sleeve T-shirt, Breeders’ Cup® short sleeve T-shirt, outdoor/summer SPA skin care collection, Breeders’ Cup® hoody, Breeders’Cup® fleece, Breeders’ Cup® sweatshirt and a Breeders’ Cup® Cap.
Entries for the Bonus Zone “Second Chance” drawings must include three non-winning “BREEDERS’ CUP® GOLD” instant tickets, as well as the name, address and telephone number of the person submitting the entry.
