Public Invited to Transportation Confab

CREST HAVEN — Freeholders will host the county’s Fifth Annual Transportation Infrastructure Conference today, Feb. 24 from 10 a.m. until noon at the Cape May County Administration Building, 4 Moore Road.
Speakers are expected to include: State Sen. Jeff Van Drew (D-1st), Richard T. Hammer, assistant commissioner, NJ DOT, John Withers, supervising engineer, NJ Turnpike Authority, James T. Johnson, Jr., executive officer, DRBA, Assemblymen Nelson T. Albano and Matthew Milam, (both D-1st), Tim Chelius, executive director, South Jersey Transportation Planning Organization and Dale Foster, county engineer.
The event is open to the public.
A variety of topics will be addressed including the elimination of traffic signals on Garden State Parkway in Middle Township and repair of the Beesley’s Point Bridge.
