Point Reorganization to Seat New Mayor

CAPE MAY POINT — Commissioner Carl Schupp was scheduled to be sworn in as new mayor of the borough today at its reorganization meeting at noon following last week’s election. Schupp will also serve a Commissioner of Public Works.
New Commissioner Anita Van Heeswyk was scheduled to be sworn as Deputy Mayor and Commissioner of Revene and Finance.
Reelected Commissioner Joe Nietubicz was scheduled to receive his oath as Commissioner of Public Safety.
Former Mayor Malcolm Fraser, who served for 16 years, will be honored at a celebration on June 28 at the West Cape May Fire Hall.
