Parking Amended

NORTH WILDWOOD – North Wildwood City Council introduced an ordinance June 18, which amended parking on Olde New Jersey Avenue.
According to the ordinance, no person or vehicle may park “beginning on the Friday of Memorial Day Weekend until the Sunday of Labor Day Weekend, from 9 p.m. on Friday until 6 a.m. Saturday, and from 9 p.m. Saturday until 6 a.m. Sunday.” Designated areas include between First and Spruce avenues.
In response to council’s questions, Police Chief Matthew Gallagher said Uber and cab drivers may drop-off and pick-up in the designated area during the prescribed hours. The ordinance will be presented upon second reading July 2 during the council meeting.
