On Jan. 4, It’s Freeholder Reorganization

CREST HAVEN – The reorganization meeting of the Cape May County Board of Chosen Freeholders will take place at 5 p.m. on Jan. 4, 2008.
The annual reorganization will be held in the Freeholders’ Meeting Room at the County Administration Building, 4 Moore Road.
Freeholder Gerald M. Thornton and Freeholder Ralph E. Bakley, Sr. will be administered the oath of office for their upcoming three year terms
Additionally, director and vice-director of the board will be selected and departments assigned.
Both Thornton and Bakley were reelected in November 2007 to serve three-year terms.
Thornton served as freeholder from 1976-1987 and from 1995 to the present.
Bakley was appointed in February 2003 and elected in November 2003 to fill an unexpired term.
