 All Residents and Merchants are advised that the Ocean City Community Oriented Policing Unit will conduct security surveys of your home or business. The Officer will then be able to make suggestions about improving the security of your home or business based on his observations. Please contact the COP Unit at (609) 525-9108 to schedule a Security Survey.
 The Ocean City Police Department Tip of the Month: When going to the beach make sure that your valuables are being watched by someone at all times.
 The Ocean City Police Department is providing bicycle helmets to the children of the community. This program is established to promote bicycle safety. We encourage all persons to wear a helmet when riding a bicycle, scooter or skateboard.
 Night in Venice is July 25, 2009, Saturday Night. The Police Department was everyone to have a safe night out. Please obey all traffic laws, be alert for pedestrian and bicycle traffic. Parking regulations will be enforced and there will be special parking restrictions along Bay Avenue from 12th St. to 24th Street.
