TRENTON – NJ Oath Keepers has embarked on a billboard project to reach, teach and inspire men and women in uniform to keep to their oath of enlistment, according to a release.
As an educational outreach group to military members and law enforcement personnel the group’s mission is to foster a better understanding among those who serve of their obligation to respect the constitutional and civil rights of all Americans.
The joint base Dix/McGuire /Lakehurst billboard will be the first of many which we plan to exhibit in the state.
Oath Keepers is a non-partisan association of currently serving military, police, first responders, veterans, reservists, security officers and concerned citizens who pledge to fulfill the oath that they take to “defend the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic.”
That oath, mandated by Article VI of the Constitution, is to the Constitution, not to politicians, and Oath Keepers declare that they will not obey unconstitutional orders, such as orders to disarm the American people, to conduct warrantless searches, or to detain Americans as “enemy combatants” in violation of their right to a trial by jury.
Cape May – Governor Murphy says he doesn't know anything about the drones and doesn't know what they are doing but he does know that they are not dangerous. Does anyone feel better now?
