NORTH WILDWOOD – A March 4 city release cited a state Department of Community Affairs Property Tax Table that shows North Wildwood to “have the lowest average property taxes of any shore community in the state.”
The release continued, in addition to having the lowest average property taxes of any beach community, North Wildwood is also ranked 20th overall out of 566 municipalities in the state for lowest average property taxes.
Mayor Patrick Rosenello stated, “This is something city council and I are very proud of. To put it simply, if you want to own property in a beach town in New Jersey, North WIldwood offers the most efficient full-service municipal government in the state.”
He continued, “We are able to maintain this distinction all while we continue to make improvements to public buildings, parks, roads, our beaches, and infrastructure.”
The average residential property value in the city is $305,367 and the average total property taxes are $3,867.
