North Wildwood Gets Funds from NJDOT

NORTH WILDWOOD – The city has been selected to receive funding from the New Jersey Department of Transportation’s (NJDOT) Fiscal Year 2010 Municipal Aid Program for the reconstruction of Chestnut Avenue in the amount of $186,000.
Annually, the NJDOT provides $78.75 million in municipal aid from the Transportation Trust Fund (TTF). This year, an additional $25 million from the TTF has been programmed in an effort to further assist municipalities statewide address their transportation needs.
Mayor Bill Henfey said, “This funding will be a great help with our plan to modernize the city’s infrastructure, a plan that has been progressing on schedule.”
