COURT HOUSE – Middle Township will discuss its latest grant application at its 4 p.m. Committee Work Session Dec. 21. The application to the Cape May County Board of Open Space seeks approximately $350,000 in funding for improvements to the North Reeds Beach Jetty area. Proposed is the installation of amenities that will improve accessibility to the Bidwell Creek Jetty waterfront area along with the construction of a wildlife viewing platform.
A similar application was submitted by Middle Township in December 2014, but the project was revised following public and County feedback.
The Work Session is scheduled for 4 p.m. in the Court Room of Town Hall.
