There is a six officer noise/alcohol unit specifically assigned to handle these complaints throughout the summer months.
• The Ocean City Police Department is responding to complaints about persons consuming alcoholic beverages on the beach. Everyone is reminded that public consumption of alcohol is a violation of our City Ordinance. Lifeguards, Beach Tag Inspectors and Police Officers will be patrolling the beaches enforcing the ban on alcohol.
