MVC Facilities Will Be Closed in Recognition of Presidents’ Holidays

TRENTON — New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission (MVC) customers are advised that only vendor-run state inspections stations will be closed Feb. 12, 2014 in recognition of Abraham Lincoln’s birthday. All other MVC facilities, including agencies and driver testing sites, will be open that day, during normal business hours.
Additionally, all MVC facilities, including agencies, driver testing sites and vendor-run inspection stations will be closed Feb. 17, 2014 in recognition of Presidents’ Day. All facilities will be open for regular operating hours Feb. 18.
Regular MVC Agency hours are:
Mon. 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Tues. 8:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Wed. 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Thurs. 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Fri. 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Sat. 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Regular Inspection Station hours are:
Mon. through Fri. 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Sat. 7:00 a.m. to Noon
As always, customers can avoid unnecessary trips to an agency when they “Skp the Trip” for driver’s license renewals or through 24-7 access to a variety of motor vehicle services via the Web. From vehicle registration renewals and driver abstract requests to surcharge/restoration payments and driver test scheduling, njmvc.gov provides the added convenience of transactions from home.
