PETERSBURG – Scott Morgan, Upper Township business administrator, reported to Upper Township Committee Oct. 28 that more vandalism occurred at Caldwell Park on Stagecoach Road.
“Saturday (Oct. 26) evening, it seems a group of youth broke bottles and scattered trash throughout the park,” said Morgan. “We immediately had a public works crew clean up on Sunday morning.
“A child using equipment at Andrew’s World playground cut his hand on some hidden broken glass. We are serious about these problems and will be installing, by Nov. 4, dawn-to-dusk lights with infrared capabilities.
“State Police at Woodbine Barracks also will be getting even more engaged to stop future vandalism and apprehend perpetrators,” he continued.
