Middle Township Police Trading Cards Hold Rewards for Youngsters

Middle Township Police Department trading cards offer opportunity for youngsters to meet officers

COURT HOUSE – The Middle Township Police Department has launched a Police Officer Trading Card Program.
According to a release, the department invites the community’s youths to talk with a Middle Township police officer and ask for a trading card. If a child meets 15 different Middle Township police officers and collects 15 trading cards, they can bring them to the Middle Township Police Department between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. for a reward.
The child will receive a gift bag that includes a $10 gift card provided by the Court House McDonald’s and a prize provided by Gateway 26 Arcade in North Wildwood.
The program’s goal is to promote positive interactions between police officers and Middle Township youth when there is not an incident, crisis or emergency.
The goal of the program is to enhance existing efforts to build relationships between police and the youth in Middle Township.
The department extended its gratitude to McDonald’s and Gateway 26 for their donations and support of the program.
