COURT HOUSE – The Middle Township Economic Development Council (EDC) invites residents to join a town meeting focusing on Innovation and Entrepreneurship Nov. 20 from 6-7 p.m. at Atlantic Cape Community College, 341 Court House-South Dennis Road, Court House.
According to a release, the meeting will provide insight on the innovation and entrepreneurship of the township and the business services available.
Speakers will be Cape May County Clerk Rita Marie Fulginiti, who will lead the discussion with the history of innovators and entrepreneurs in the township.
Cape May County’s Carole Mattessich will continue with the growth of the technology industry in the county.
Atlantic Cape Community College Dean Maria Kellett will then contribute the college’s future plans for an entrepreneur and business center to encourage growth within the region.
Special guest will be Middle Township native and Philadelphia real estate entrepreneur Mike Maher. He will discuss why co-working and incubation are key in building local entrepreneurial ecosystems. The discussion will then be followed by a community question-and-answer segment with the speakers.
“Understanding the innovation of area businesses over the years and their consistent growth in Middle Township may provide new insight to business owners and entrepreneurs looking to start a venture of their own,” stated Middle Township Mayor, Michael J. Clark. “The meetings panel is able to provide unique insight and fresh perspectives on the area growth and business patterns to inspire and inform entrepreneurs and innovators in the area,” Clark continued.
