Man Apprehended for Shooting Arrows on Beach

By Press Release

STONE HARBOR – On Oct. 13, while conducting a routine patrol on the beach, Sgt. Robert Walker observed a man shooting arrows at a water bottle by an access ramp on the beach. The man was approached, supplied a name and address and was sent on his way.
It was later determined that the name supplied was false and the man was later observed on Third Avenue by 105th Street approximately one hour later. He was confronted and his real identity, Ronald Manuel, was confirmed. He was then arrested and charged with Hindering Apprehension and a local ordinance violation of shooting arrows within Borough limits. He was then released on his own recognizance. Ronald Manuel faces an appearance in Stone Harbor Municipal Court on these charges.
