VILLAS – The Lower Township Municipal Utilities Authority began a routine hydrant-flushing program May 12 which will continue through May 20.
According to a release, flushing will continue on a 24-hour basis up through completion May 20. Residents in the areas being flushed may experience a temporary discoloration in their water while flushing is in progress.
Residents are asked to refrain from using water for drinking or washing clothes until the discoloration disappears. Those who have any questions, should call (609) 886-7146 extension 3 or visit the MUA website: www.ltmua.org
