By Herald Staff

WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Rep. Frank A. LoBiondo (R-2nd) issued the following statement on the nation’s inauguration of Barack Obama as president of the United States:
“Our nation today honored the democratic process and the peaceful transfer of power. It is days like today when we must reflect on the enormous challenges and awesome responsibilities that our nation faces. President Obama rightly said we must work together to move America forward. His speech set the tone for the nation. I strongly support his assertion that America’s freedoms were built on the hard work, strength and loyalty of her people, and I was pleased to see the president focus on unity and bringing the country together.”
