Fox’s Ethics Hearings Approach

Fox's Ethics Hearings Approach

By Shay Roddy

WEST WILDWOOD – The hearing dates are set in Mayor Christopher Fox’s ethics violations case, which will be heard by the New Jersey Office of Administrative Law this June and July.
At a status conference in March, the court set five dates for late June and early July to hear the case, which focuses on accusations Fox acted improperly, getting involved in police affairs, aiding his live-in housemate, Police Chief Jacquelyn Ferentz, and using his power to hire his daughter as a police officer. Fox was fired from his job as Wildwood administrator, but has refused to resign from his elected position as West Wildwood’s mayor. The hearings will kick off June 26 and then reconvene July 6, 8, 17 and 27. All will be held in Atlantic City.
