PETERSBURG – During public comment at the township committee’s Aug. 22 meeting, a resident probed for more details on the previously-announced charging station.

Committee member Kim Hayes clarified.
“We can’t really call this a charging station since it’s more like just an outlet. And it is under lock and key so that any potential user will have to notify the clerk or another Township official to plug in,” Hayes said.
