Dennis Mulls In-person Meetings

DENNISVILLE – Dennis Township Committee, at its June 9 virtual meeting, started the discussion as to how to “put the wheels back on the bus and get us moving again,” as one member recommended.
To that end, members explored if in-person attendance could be held for subsequent committee meetings.
“Our town hall holds 169 people maximum capacity, and with the governor’s new executive order this morning allowing 25% of maximum capacity or no more than 50 people to gather, that would mean we could allow 42 people into the space. We rarely have that many people attend anyway,” explained Municipal Clerk Jacqueline Justice.
“We have authorization, per the governor’s direction to all municipalities, that we may continue online meetings until Dec. 31. Let’s continue exploring this possibility and we can announce any changes through our website,” she continued.
