DENNISVILLE – Jessica Bishop, Dennis Township administrator, reported to Committee at their April 14 meeting that the municipal recreation complex was closed April 13-14 for storm clean-up, with tree limbs down on the walking path, making it unsafe for use.
“Clean up was complete by noon April 14 yesterday, and the complex was reopened,” said Bishop. “No township buildings were damaged by the storm.
“There were power outages but between our backup generators and staff working from home, per our COVID-19 Essential Services plan, regular township business was not interrupted. None of our buildings are open to the public Due to COVID-19 precautions, all paper business is being conducted through the drop-box, located in the vestibule of Township Hall.”
“Our modified services schedule is posted on our website,” she further explained.
