Del Haven Water Survey Findings to Be Discussed at Middle Twp. Work Session

By Press Release

COURT HOUSE — Representatives from New Jersey American Water will attend Monday’s Middle Township Committee Work Session to present results of a recent survey regarding possible water installation in Del Haven as well as to answer questions and solicit additional public feedback. The Work Session is scheduled for 4 p.m. in the Court Room of Town Hall.
According to New Jersey American Water, approximately 40% of surveys distributed to residents in the proposed service area were returned. Of those, approximately 2/3 of respondents indicated that they were either very or somewhat interested or that they would like more information. One-third indicated that they had no interest whatsoever. The surveys were distributed following the Aug. 17 Township Committee Work Session, where New Jersey American Water first presented proposed project details in response to residents’ requests.
