WILDWOOD CREST – The Borough of Wildwood Crest is seeking the community’s cooperation and input in completing a Local Concept Development study regarding anticipated Ocean Drive upgrades and (Middle Thorofare) bridge improvement. Based on incidents of coastal flooding and general aging of the three bridges between Route 9 and Wildwood Crest, the study will help determine if the bridges should be replaced or repaired. A plan might also include raising the Ocean Drive roadbed to avoid flooding that occurs during storms.
