County to Stop Sending Homeless to Atlantic City

CAPE MAY COUNTY– The County will stop indiscriminately sending homeless and destitute people to Atlantic City and the Atlantic City Rescue Mission, reports the Press of Atlantic City.
According to the Press, several Cape May County residents looking for emergency housing assistance told The Press recently that they were told to go outside of Cape May County for help. Some said they were offered one-way bus tickets to get them to Atlantic City and the mission.
