County Dept. of Aging Plans Public Hearing

CREST HAVEN — Cape May County Department of Aging will hold a public hearing for the purpose of receiving public comment on its proposed Area Plan Grant on Aug. 8 at 2 p.m.
According to Freeholder Gerald Thornton, the hearing will focus on the 2008 update of the plan that covers services from 2007 to 2009. The hearing will take place in the Meeting Room at the Social Services Building, 4005 Route 9 South in Rio Grande.
The proposed Area Plan Grant contains services that the county intends to fund during 2008. Services included are Information & Assistance, Certified Home Health Aide, Care Management, Transportation, Housekeeping, Legal Assistance, Respite Care, Emergency, Physical Health – Dental, Administration of Nutrition and Mobile Meals, Residential Maintenance, Adult Day Services – Social, and Adult Protective Services.
