County Aging Department Holds Grant Hearing

COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF AGING PRESS RELEASE:
CREST HAVEN — Freeholder Gerald Thornton announced that the Cape May County Department of Aging will hold a public hearing for the purpose of receiving public comment on its proposed Area Plan Grant on Wednesday, July 29, 2009 at 1 p.m. The hearing will focus on the plan that covers services the county intends to fund from 2010 through 2012. The Public Hearing will take place at the Lower Cape Senior Center located at 2612 Bayshore Road in the Villas.
Services included are Information & Assistance, Certified Home Health Aide, Care Management, Transportation, Housekeeping, Certified Home Health Aide, Care Management, Transportation, Housekeeping, Legal Assistance, Respite Care, Emergency, Physical Health – Dental, Outreach, Medication Management, Administration of Nutrition and Mobile Meals, Residential Maintenance, Adult Day Services – Social, Adult Protective Services, Caregiver Support Programs and Professional In-Home Education/support.
