Co. Administrator Sues County, 2 Freeholders

CREST HAVEN – Cape May County Administrator and Clerk of the Board Elizabeth Bozzelli is suing the county and Freeholders E. Marie Hayes and Will Morey, the Press of Atlantic City reports.
The lawsuit was filed Sept. 4, alleging harassment over Bozzelli’s decision not to approve a job transfer for Hayes’ son, Lloyd Hayes.
In the suit, Bozzelli states Freeholder Hayes’ son “has been the subject of multiple transfers and verbal warnings” regarding poor work performance and that, when Bozzelli refused Hayes’ request to transfer her son, retaliation ensued.
