NORTH WILDWOOD – North Wildwood City Council passed a resolution Oct. 15, extending a shared services agreement with the Cape May County Municipal Utilities Authority (CMCMUA). The agreement provides the opportunity to benefit from the secure sanitary landfill, solid waste transfer station, intermediate processing facility and other programs.
The agreement, approved by council, extends the contract from January 2020 to Dec. 31, 2020, and beyond. According to the resolution, the CMCMUA submitted the same proposed form of agreement to all Cape May County municipalities, which will provide for solid waste disposal and certain recycling services through Dec. 31, 2020.
