Changes to Off-duty Police Employment Introduced

SEA ISLE CITY – At its Dec. 10 meeting, Sea Isle City Council introduced, and then passed, on first reading, an amendment to applicable ordinances that would rescind the existing prohibition of outside employment for off-duty police officers.
There was no discussion upon introduction. Second reading and public comment is scheduled for council’s Jan. 14, 2020 meeting.
