WILDWOOD – City Commissioners passed a resolution Nov. 13, providing a professional services contract with Remington and Vernick Engineers.
According to the resolution, the contract authorizes Remington and Vernick to proceed with “part-time construction, observation, administration, and management services in connection with ongoing repairs on the Boardwalk.”
Commissioners are trying to secure funding in the amount of $64.5 million. Senate President Stephen Sweeney toured under the boardwalk in September (http://bit.ly/2s43rxi), with city officials, to observe the damage. Repairs have been made throughout 2019 to stabilize certain areas.
