TRENTON – The Atlantic/Cape May Vicinage will conduct opening ceremonies for the new court year and a memorial service for members and former members of the bar association, as well as for court employees who passed away during the prior court year.
According to a release, the Atlantic County public ceremony will begin at 8:45 a.m. Sept. 3, in courtroom 3A of the Atlantic County Civil Courts Building, 1201 Bacharach Blvd, Atlantic City.
The Cape May County public ceremony be held at 3 p.m. Sept. 4, in courtroom C of the Cape May County Courthouse, 9 N. Main St., Cape May Court House.
Assignment Judge Julio L. Mendez will preside over both ceremonies, with bar association officers and trustees coordinating the presentations.
This year, the Atlantic County memorial service will pay tribute to Judges Dennis J. Braithwaite and Michael R. Mazzoni; attorneys Roy Baylinson, John F. (Jay) Collins, Frank G. Olivo, Mark Pfeffer, David Spitalnick and Mark Vasser; and court employees Elaine M. Lee and Tracy Patterson.
The Cape May County memorial service will honor Judge Braithwaite; attorneys William Balliette and Harry Delventhal; and court employee Kathy Fournier.
