PLEASANTVILLE – The Atlantic/Cape May Vicinage, in partnership with Mount Zion Baptist Church of Pleasantville and South Jersey Legal Services, will hold two expungement seminars March 8 at 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. at the WinSan Center of Mount Zion Baptist Church, 352 S. New Road, Pleasantville.
A release stated that judiciary staff and representatives from South Jersey Legal Services would provide participants with information on the types of criminal and juvenile records that can be expunged, the time requirements to be eligible for an expungement, how to prepare and file an expungement and what happens after an expungement is granted. Expungement forms will be available.
On the day of the seminar, expungement petitions can be filed with the court onsite. To ensure acceptance of the petition, applicants must pre-register to determine eligibility. After receiving a notice of eligibility, applicants must register for the seminar.
A Spanish interpreter will be available.
