NORTH WILDWOOD – According to North Wildwood City Clerk Scott Jett, individuals were seen smoking in the gazebo adjacent to the Hereford Inlet Lighthouse. The discovery was made after the last Full Moon Climb June 28.
Jett said the city’s no-smoking ordinance did not include the gazebo or Margaret Mace Park, at Central and Spruce avenues. Council introduced an amendment July 2, including the property surrounding the lighthouse and the park. The supplement would be presented on second reading July 16.
