Get active at Wildwood Fitness Expo

By On Deck Staff

On Saturday, March 28, a Health and Fitness Expo will be held at the Wildwoods Convention Center from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m.
The expo offers a pleasant day of wellness with pro-active health-related activities and screenings, as well as information on the benefits of diet and exercise.
This expo is the prelude to the 11th Annual Running of the Ocean Drive Marathon. Runners are asked to check in and pick up race number, shirt, and packet while having the opportunity to shop for the latest in runner’s gear, accessories, and reading materials.
Registration will be available for all running events: Marathon, 10-Mile, 5K, and 1.5-Mile Promenade Fun Run.
Tickets will be available at the expo for the traditional “Carb Load Pasta Dinner,” which will take place March 28 at Adam’s Restaurant, on the Boardwalk at 18th Ave. in North Wildwood, housed in the Montego Bay Resort.
Seating will be from 5 – 9 p.m., and tickets are $18 per person.
The marathon will begin at 9 a.m. on Sunday, March 29 in Cape May ending in Sea Isle City where the awards will be presented.
