WEST CAPE MAY – The West Cape May Volunteer Fire Company is helping families protect themselves from home fires through the Red Cross Home Fire Campaign. At no cost to residents, the local fire department will install free smoke alarms where needed within their home.
These smoke alarms are available to full-time, year-round residents, excluding rental properties, in the Borough of West Cape May. A limited number of free smoke alarms are available for those who cannot afford to purchase smoke alarms or for those who are physically unable to install a smoke alarm.
West Cape May residents who are interested in having smoke alarms installed should contact Suzanne Stocker, West Cape May borough clerk, at 609-884-1005 ext. 100 or via email to sschumann@westcapemay.us.
