RIO GRANDE– Firefighters were dispatched to a car fire in front of Five Guys restaurant today at around 1 p.m.
Rio Grande Fire Company Assistant Chief Jim Belles said he arrived to find a Ford Mustang on fire.
Belles said the fire was placed under control and around 1:30 p.m., and firefighters remained on scene until 2 p.m., to over haul the car fire and clean the area.
The Rio Grande Rescue Squad responded to the scene to standby while firefighters worked to contain the blaze. No injures were reported.
