RIO GRANDE– Firefighters were called to the scene of a fully engulfed car fire Tuesday night on Route 9 near King Street.
Fire officials said the driver smelled something burning and pulled over to the shoulder of the road. The car started smoking and burst into flames.
No injuries were reported.
