Stone Harbor Bird Sanctuary Plans Event ‘For the Birds’

STONE HARBOR – The Stone Harbor Bird Sanctuary Committee is hosting an event ‘For the Birds’ Saturday June 13 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at 325 96th Street on the bay here.
Wine and beer along with hors d’oeuvres from a dozen local restaurants will be served.
Area restaurants including Quahog’s Seafood Shack, Blackfish Restaurant, Solé Restaurant, Stone Harbor Yacht Club, Nemo’s Family Restaurant, Windrift Restaurant and Yvette’s Cafe are donating the munchies.
Door prizes, including a 14 carat gold sanctuary bracelet donated by Neptune’s Jewels, will be given away.
There will be a tent with professional lighting to illuminate the tent to appear like a canopy of trees.
The Eddie Morgan Trio, a smooth jazz group, will play. A donation of $25 is requested.
