Stone Harbor American Legion Cleans Community

STONE HARBOR –– American Legion Post 331 held its annual Clean Communities Cleanup Friday, Oct. 17.
Commander Al Carusi, Frank Taylor, Richard Pike, Emil Oscar, Bill Lehman, John Keulian, Fred Ruehling and Ben Eastwood collected eight bags of trash/litter/recyclable debris from throughout the borough.
Areas cleaned include the south side of Ocean Drive from 117th Street to the bridge, south west side of Third Avenue from 117th Street to 122nd Street, outside perimeter of the Bird Sanctuary between Second and Third avenues from 111th to 117th streets and the outside perimeter of the parking lot at 123rd Street and Second Avenue.
